My hubster & I have been married for almost 35 yrs (seems like yesterday). We are empty-nesters with 2 handsome sons & 2 beautiful daughters-in-law.     I was not aware that ‘all that lush farmland’ in california had gone anywhere.

    • Donny, I have not lived in Cali for some time…but when I was there, they were already having “water wars” with SoCal and the greenie weenies who were already a pain in the bucket…were becoming even more so…the Delta region where is very rich soil but the greenies were screaming bloody murder about compaction and the mitten claw crab being poached…the State has gotten more strident with water rights in the last couple years going as far by some reports as to cut water off or curtailing usage for farmers…
