President Obama has done it again. He has selectively left out the “Creator” when citing The Declaration Of Independence… for the third time now. The first time that he did it, some might argue that it was an accident. It was during a speech given at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s Awards Gala on September 15th… but if you watch the video, he takes time for a long pause prior to continuing on without “By their Creator”. Ok, maybe the pause was a loss of words from blanking out without his trusty sidekick, TOTUS.
Unfortunately, there is no video footage from the second time in which he forgot to give respect due to the “Creator”. It occurred when he spoke at a Sept. 22 fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. Slightly different phrasing this time but the same effect…
From the transcript of that speech released by the White House:
“And what was sustaining us was that sense that — that North Star, that sense that, you know what, if we stay true to our values, if we believe that all people are created equal and everybody is endowed with certain inalienable rights and we’re going to make those words live, and we’re going to give everybody opportunity, everybody a ladder into the middle class, every child able to go as far as their dreams will take them — if we stay true to that, then we’re going to be able to maintain the energy and the focus, the fight, the gumption to get stuff done. And it may not always happen in our lifetimes. And we may sometimes experience disappointments. And sometimes compromises are going to be made. But we know where we’re going”
That speech followed the previous event by only 7 days. The first omission received a relatively high amount of notice including being covered on the President’s much hated rival network, Fox News. You would have to believe that someone might advise the President to be more careful so as to not raise the ire of his opposition. Or perhaps if the omission was indeed an accident that he would make a conscious effort to not repeat the same mistake again. Regardless, he did do it a second time, but certainly that would be an egregious error and definitely something to not mistake again, right?
But… President Obama did it again for the THIRD time… just this past Monday night when speaking to a dinner fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in Rockville, Md.
This time his statements were clear… he was reciting The Declaration Of Independence without question….
“As wonderful as the land is here in the United States, as much as we have been blessed by the bounty of this magnificent continent that stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific, what makes this place special is not something physical. It has to do with this idea that was started by 13 colonies that decided to throw off the yoke of an empire, and said, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that each of us are endowed with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
It is now apparent that President Obama is one or more of a handful of things: 1. Arrogant, 2. Ignorant of The Declaration Of The Independence, 3. Disdainful of our heritage as Americans 4. Anti-colonialist in nature which drives his disregard for the importance of “the Creator” in our country and our rights, 5. Non-Christian, 6. Intentionally inciting a hatred for American Exceptionalism, 7. Just plain dumb.
Look, I don’t know what his faith really is anymore. I don’t care about it so much for his position of President as I do for his stance on the attacks against our heritage as a country. His “Apology World Tour” raised a lot of questions about his true allegiance to our country. His ambiguous stance on the issues related to the Islamic Center/ Ground Zero Mosque/ Cordoba Initiative combined with his following the teachings of Rev. Jeremiah Wright(closely connected to Rev. Farrakhan of Nation Of Islam) have raised questions of his religion. If any of the questions that were raised were unfairly burdened upon him, then he should want to “throw off the yoke” of misrepresentation and be more careful as to what he says and the meaning of his words going forward from the first time.
I sense enemy action now. His unwavering disregard of “by the Creator” is clear. Has he declared war officially? What I am questioning is whether the President has declared war on The Declaration Of Independence or on God? You decide.
